About Dr. Cejaye
Dr. Cejaye graduated from the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture with her Doctor of Acupuncture designation, alongside her 2200-hour Registered Massage Therapy certification.
Her path to Chinese Medicine unfolded as a natural evolution from more than two decades of dedicated yoga practice. What began as a personal exploration of movement and breath grew into a deep study of over more than 1000 hours of Yoga training, Eastern philosophy, anatomy, body mechanics, and therapeutic movement. This journey was further enriched by her studies in Sport Fitness Nutrition (2011), Western Herbology, Iridology, and Reflexology (2012), Reiki (2016), and Acusculpting (2023).
In addition to her formal training, Dr. Cejaye has created her own Fascial Release Technique (FRT), a gentle yet profoundly effective method for pain management, injury recovery, and restoring balance in the body’s connective tissue. This work is informed by her understanding of fascia as a living, intelligent matrix - one that holds memory, emotion, and the story of the body’s resilience.
Her practice is also deeply rooted in her devoted spiritual path, which honours the teachings of Cree Elders and the wisdom of the natural world. Through these teachings, she brings the principles of reciprocity, respect, and the cyclical nature of life into her sessions. This way of working blends shamanic principles with the timeless wisdom of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels, allowing acupuncture to become not just a physical intervention, but a spiritual realignment.
Currently, Dr. Cejaye is developing courses on working with fascia and esoteric/shamanic acupuncture, designed to help practitioners understand acupuncture points and meridians from a deeply energetic and symbolic perspective.
When you step into her space, you are welcomed into an environment of stillness and presence - a place where healing remembers its roots. Your session may weave together acupuncture, cupping, tuina massage, fascial release, Reiki, chakra balancing, and sound therapy, depending on your needs. Each treatment is a conversation between the physical and the unseen, an invitation to restore balance in both body and spirit.
